Here are some photos from my aunt's house. She had me come over a few weeks ago and decorate for Christmas. I came back yesterday to help tweak things for a party she is hosting this week.
Her favorite color is purple--so a traditional red and green Christmas wouldn't work for her. I made her garland and wreath. When I was done I was covered in glitter--to the point when I tried to brush it off clouds of glitter billowed in the air!!!
She loves the beach, so we sorted through all of her ornaments and only used purple and beach themed ones. She decided to only put up a small tree this year to make more room for all those coming to her party!
She even has a purple and burgundy Nativity. Believe it or not this actually came from a grocery store!

I did a chartreuse and gold themed vignette in her foyer.
She had this great velvet cone and all these gold and green ornaments, so I put them together and came up with this:
